  • About | InsightFlow Therapy

Learn about me, Wayne Klee, and my LLC, InsightFlow Therapy. Hi, I’m Wayne—founder of InsightFlow Therapy. I’m a therapist who believes that doing the hard things—whether that means facing the past, speaking the truth, or sitting with difficult emotions—is how we grow. My work is rooted in the idea that therapy should be both supportive and effective: a space where you feel seen and understood, but also challenged in meaningful ways. Over the past decade, I’ve worked with individuals and couples to untangle patterns shaped by trauma, anxiety, and relational wounds. I specialize in helping people who feel stuck—whether in their emotions, relationships, or sense of self—begin to move forward with clarity and courage. Clients often tell me they appreciate my straightforward, down-to-earth style. I pull from a range of evidence-based methods, but always tailor therapy to who you are. My goal is to help you find insight, build resilience, and create lasting change—not just talk about it. Therapy doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. If you're ready—or even just curious—I'm here when you're ready to start. Let's Connect! • New Client Resources | InsightFlow Therapy

Resources for new clients and for those considering therapy. New & Prospective Clients New to Therapy? If you're new to therapy, you may be curious about what to expect and how it can benefit you. As a Therapist, I am committed to helping individuals heal, grow, and thrive. In our sessions, anticipate a confidential and empathetic space where we collaboratively explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Whether you're navigating specific challenges, pursuing personal development, or seeking support for life's journey, therapy offers valuable insights and practical tools to enhance your wellbeing. Together, we'll work towards your goals, creating a positive and transformative experience tailored to your unique needs. Embark on this therapeutic journey to take the first step towards a healthier and more fulfilling life. New to therapy FAQ Frequently Asked Questions What should I anticipate during my initial therapy session? During your first therapy session, you can count on a welcoming environment where we can explore your reasons for seeking therapy, your personal background, and your goals for therapy. You can expect me to ask open-ended questions to gain insight into your experiences and concerns. If you're unsure where to start, don't worry—I'm here to guide the conversation. Together, we'll collaborate on setting goals and discussing potential approaches to address your needs. Remember, the pace of the session is up to you, and I'm here to support you on your journey toward greater well-being. What is a typical therapy session like, and how can I best prepare? Preparing for a therapy session involves taking a moment to reflect on thoughts and concerns beforehand. Your input is valued in this two-way conversation, so feel free to express what feels most relevant. The discussion will be guided, offering insights and practical tools for personal growth. Throughout the session, expect questions to be asked, collaboratively set goals, and explore changes or beliefs that may impact life. The goal is to identify a plan to take the insights from the session and apply them in life to make a meaningful difference. Do you prescribe medication? What is your stance on medication? As a therapist, I do not have the authority to prescribe medication. The focus lies in providing support through talk therapy, assisting in exploring and understanding thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. However, if it's concluded that medication may be beneficial, collaboration with a psychiatrist or primary care physician can be facilitated to ensure effective care is received. What are your fees, and do you accept insurance? Fees are listed in the fees and pricing section. I nsightFlow is considered an out-of-network provider. Please check with your insurance provider to find out the details regarding the specific benefits for your plan. While insurance is not accepted, you can opt to receive a superbill to submit to your insurance provider for possible partial reimbursement. What is your cancellation policy? There is a fee for appointments canceled within 24 hours and for missed appointments. More information may be found in the informed consent documents. Do you offer in-person therapy sessions? No, at this time only therapy via telehealth is offered. What do I need in order to access virtual sessions? To access virtual sessions, you'll need a stable internet connection, a device such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone, and a private space where you feel comfortable discussing confidential matters. How long will I be in therapy? The length of your therapy journey is personalized to your unique circumstances. It depends on factors such as your goals, personal history, treatment approach, and your commitment to practices outside of our sessions. While some clients achieve their objectives in a short period of time, others benefit from ongoing support. On average, clients engage in therapy for 8-12 sessions, but this timeframe is flexible and tailored to your individual progress and needs. What if I don't feel a connection with my therapist? When you're in therapy, developing a strong therapeutic alliance is essential for the effectiveness of the process. The therapeutic alliance refers to the collaborative and trusting relationship between a therapist and a client, and it plays a crucial role in fostering positive outcomes. If you find that the connection with your therapist isn't as strong as you'd like, it's not only okay but encouraged to communicate openly about it. How can I get started? 1. Schedule a Complimentary 15-minute Consultation . While this initial meeting gives me a brief snapshot of what you're coming to therapy for, it is equally important for you to determine whether or not you feel comfortable working with me. One of the largest determinants of successful outcomes in therapy is the relationship between the client and the therapist. If we don't click, no worries! There is no pressure to move forward or make an immediate decision. 2. Sign Informed Consent Documents and Create a Client Profile If we decide to proceed with starting therapy, you will be emailed informed consent documents to review. You will also receive a link to create a profile through a scheduling platform. 3. Schedule and Attend Your Intake Session Intakes may include assessments, mental health screenings, diagnosis, formulating treatment plans, and providing appropriate referrals if needed. This session is required to be established as a client for ongoing therapy sessions. Follow-up sessions will be scheduled as indicated. Still have more questions? S end them my way and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.
